Successful Launch w/ mast stepped

We moved into our new quarters on Happy Destiny today. Last night we flew in from
Florida after making the condo ship shape to go on without us for the near future. Upon arrival in  Michigan we were initially treated to sun and warmth only to degrade into a spring storm with rain and wind which threatened our launch planned for today. We stopped by Eldean's and HD was in the travel lift's sling awaiting bottom paint touch up where the cradle had her secured for the winter. It was a fast night of only 4 hours of sleep as we needed to be at Eldean's by 7:30 to participate in the launch.
Rain but no wind, so launch, mast stepping and rigging went off on  schedule and we got to see how it all goes together for future stepping/unstepping as we travel through the Erie Canal mid summer.
Only casualty seems to be our new camera was not up to  the insisitent rain we had all day. Our new foul weather gear and boots got an initiation and proved very capable of providing warmth and dryness.
It is nice to be able to unpack finally in our own place, enjoy dinner and now on to much needed rest.
