Westport Ct.- London - Stratford Ct. - Westport, Ma - Gloucester,Ma

So, while the calendar would have you believe that it has been more than a month since the last HD Blog, it has only been about a week of sailing.
Arrived Connecticut 7/14 from Port Jefferson LI ( one of the Captain's favs) to visit Jonathan, Gail, Lily & Zac.  Had the traditional welcoming dinner of natural casing hot dogs and the fixin's at the dock at Brewers Stratford Marina. We were fortunate to be able to spend time with the family on HD allowing Gail some much needed time for rest.

Zac was kind enough to spend several days as Cin's personal shopper after reviewing her on board wardrobe he had his mind made up on what was needed and only required Cin to provide the wheels!

After a short week in Connecticut we were off to London for a play date with Sophia. Trained it to NYC and shuttled over to Newark for the delayed flight which once under way was relaxing sitting up front. And after a ordering a  cup of joe at Heathrow we were greeted by this:

After cleaning up at the Pub Hotel we played with our grand daughter, and played and played:

While watching the rain the old guy and the kid jammed to pass the time:

And while the angel slept we feasted with the in house chefs in our presence:

One disappointment to the men was that the two sugar queens had never heard of of Jujyfruits candy. After a very animated discussion, iPad, Google and the guys ruled:

One afternoon we walked to Richmond, another we tubed to see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace. Sophia was enthralled by the calabaros:

On Friday Jaime came home early and we were off to Wales where we stayed in a very nice two bedroom new condo on the river. We snacked after a late arrival:

The next morning Opa taught the little one how to spend time enjoying the warm sunny weather in our PJs bonding

All good things come to an end and we were off to visit HD and her saga of the rudder bearing replacement.
 HD Sans rudder:

Good news is it all worked out and the crew has joined the planned Tartan Owners North East's (TONE)
cruise to Maine where we are as of this writing.
